Article 1 – Applicability

1.1. These General Terms and Conditions apply to every purchase made via the webshop of La Pièce.
1.2. Any deviations from these terms shall only be valid if expressly confirmed in writing by La Pièce.

Article 2 – Offers and Prices

2.1. All prices are stated in euros, exclusive of VAT, and exclusive of shipping costs unless otherwise specified.
2.2. Obvious errors or mistakes in offers do not bind La Pièce.
2.3. La Pièce reserves the right to adjust prices at any time. Changes do not apply to orders already placed and confirmed.

Article 3 – Orders

3.1. An order is deemed accepted once La Pièce sends an order confirmation by email.
3.2. La Pièce reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders, for example in cases of suspected fraud or unusually large quantities.

Article 4 – Payment

4.1. Payment must be made in full through the available payment methods before shipment.
4.2. If payment fails or is reversed, La Pièce may cancel the order.

Article 5 – Delivery

5.1. Delivery times are indicative and not guaranteed.
5.2. La Pièce is not liable for delays caused by third parties such as carriers or customs.
5.3. Risk of loss or damage passes to the customer when the goods are delivered to the specified address.

Article 6 – Right of Withdrawal

6.1. Consumers may return products within 14 days after receipt without giving any reason.
6.2. Returned products must be unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging.
6.3. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless stated otherwise.
6.4. Refunds will be processed within 14 days after La Pièce has received the returned items.
6.5. Returns can be made by contacting us via our mail or Contact page on our website.

Article 7 – Exclusions

7.1. Items that are custom-made, personalized, or hygiene-sensitive (e.g., underwear) cannot be returned.

Article 8 – Product Quality and Warranty

8.1. La Pièce ensures that products meet reasonable quality expectations and comply with Belgian law.
8.2. Defects must be reported to La Pièce in writing within 7 days after discovery.

Article 9 – Liability

9.1. La Pièce is not liable for indirect or consequential damages (including lost profits).
9.2. Liability is limited to the purchase price of the product concerned.

Article 10 – Force Majeure

10.1. In events beyond La Pièce’s control (e.g., strikes, natural disasters, transport disruptions), obligations may be suspended or orders canceled without liability.

Article 11 – Complaints

11.1. Complaints must be submitted in writing or by email within a reasonable time.
11.2. Customers may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Article 12 – Governing Law

12.1. Belgian law applies exclusively to these terms.
12.2. Any disputes shall be handled by the competent court in Limburg (Hasselt), Belgium.
